Chameleons
Veiled chameleons (Chameleo calyptratus) are native to Yemen and southern Saudi Arabia, and reside in an amazing variety of different habitats. As such, this species is tolerant of temperature and humidity extremes, which contributes to its hardiness as a captive.
We are currently working with three new morphs of this species with a view to introducing some stunning new designer morphs. Check back regularly to see our progress.

Pied or Transbald Yemen's are new to the Chameleon morph scene. No two Pied's are the same and the extent of the white patching can vary greatly.

| Hypermelanistic Yemen Chameleons |
|
Little is known about the hypermelanistic trait in Yemen Chamelons, but it is thought to be a dominant or possibly co-dominant. Hypermelanism shows an increase in the amount of black pigment. We are working with this morph to normal and Pied breedings.
